SDC Development Group provides expert design and construction management services across every phase of a project.

Program Development & Planning

• Develop and manage comprehensive design and construction programs
• Source qualified local, regional, and national design and construction teams across the U.S. and Canada
• Support internal and external partners, airport authorities, and jurisdictional agencies during planning and permitting
• Assist architects and engineers in securing required construction permits
• Conduct detailed reviews of all design and construction documents

Pre-Construction

• Manage the bid process in alignment with client guidelines
• Develop project budgets and schedules, with ongoing analysis and reporting
• Coordinate and attend key milestone meetings, including Site Investigation, Pre-Bid, and Pre-Construction Meetings

Construction Management

• Provide proactive communication with clients, General Contractors, and consultants on schedule, scope, and cost
• Attend site meetings to verify progress, resolve issues, and deliver timely updates
• Review weekly site progress reports and photo documentation
• Monitor quality control of all work performed by the General Contractor and owner-supplied vendors
• Review pay applications for accuracy and completion percentages
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on change orders prior to client submittal
• Review and respond to project directives, RFIs, change order requests, and bulletins
• Continuously monitor schedules and key milestone dates

Project Close-Out

• Attend Punch Walk-Throughs, Turnover Walk-Throughs, and Final Permitting & Jurisdictional Inspections
• Manage completion of the contractor's punch list
• Coordinate with the General Contractor to secure the final Certificate of Occupancy
• Ensure all documentation, warranties, and manuals are delivered at project completion
• Track and assist with all final close-out items
